Concerts with Birgit Ulher, John Butcher, Eva Zöllner and Chi Him Chick

This concert series continues and deepens the ten-year collaboration with John Butcher and Jacques Demierre, but this time with electric string instruments (see also the new CD Black Forest Diary). The new collaborations with Birgit Ulher and Chi Him Chik continue the musical exploration with electric instruments, while the acoustic instruments are expanded and deepened with accordionist Eva Zöllner.
The five guests work in the fields of music, visuals and electronics, cultivating contemporary improvisation, the art of the moment.

UPCOMING CONCERTS:

KSZ Electric Trio with John Butcher
TThe collaboration between the trio Kimmig Studer Zimmerlin and the British saxophonist John Butcher - a central figure in contemporary improvisation - is now in its tenth year. After numerous concerts in Europe and the CD RAW from 2016, this line-up will be travelling together again in December. What's new this time is that the Kimmig Studer Zimmerlin trio will be performing with electric versions of their instruments.
